3.2 Analytics & Performance

3.3 Advertising & Attribution
Purpose: Measure marketing effectiveness and attribute app installs to campaigns Legal Basis: Consent

What we track:
- Whether ad clicks lead to website visits
- Whether visits lead to app installs
- Which campaigns drive engagement
What we don't do:
- We do not sell your personal data
- We do not share your profile information (sexual orientation, HIV status, etc.) with advertisers
- We do not use ad targeting based on your sensitive profile fields
4. Mobile App Tracking
The Rush mobile app uses SDKs that function similarly to cookies:

Device Identifiers
- IDFA (iOS): Apple's Identifier for Advertisers. Requires opt-in under App Tracking Transparency (ATT).
- GAID (Android): Google's Advertising ID. Can be reset in device settings.
Your Mobile Controls
iOS:
- Settings → Privacy → Tracking → Toggle Rush
- You will be prompted via ATT when first installing
Android:
- Settings → Google → Ads → Reset advertising ID or opt out of personalization
5. Cookie Lifespans

8. Impact of Blocking Cookies

9. Do Not Track (DNT)
Rush does not currently respond to Do Not Track browser signals due to:
- Lack of industry-wide technical standards
- Inconsistent browser implementations
- Limited adoption
We may update this position as standards evolve.
10. Global Privacy Control (GPC)
We are working to recognize Global Privacy Control signals where required by law (e.g., California). When detected, GPC signals will be treated as opt-out requests for data sales (though we do not sell data).
11. California Residents
Under CCPA/CPRA:
- We do not "sell" personal information as defined by California law
- We do not "share" personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising without consent
- You can opt out of any future selling/sharing via the methods described above
12. Children
Rush is intended for users 18 and older. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18. Our cookies and tracking are designed for adult users only.
13. Changes to This Notice
We may update this Cookie Notice to reflect:
- Changes in our tracking practices
- New technologies or providers
- Legal or regulatory requirements
Material changes will be communicated via website banner.
Continued use of Rush after changes indicates acceptance of updated practices.
