Acceptable Use Policy

Effective Date: January 31, 2026

This Acceptable Use Policy ("AUP") applies to all users of the Rush application and related services. It defines behavioral and content standards that supplement our Terms of Service and Community Guidelines.

Violations may result in: content removal, warnings, feature restrictions, temporary suspensions, permanent bans, and/or referral to law enforcement.

1. Eligibility and Identity

Requirements

✅ You must be 18 years of age or older ✅ You must provide accurate information about your identity ✅ You must use your own photos that accurately represent your appearance ✅ You must use the Service only for yourself

Prohibited

❌ Misrepresenting your age, identity, location, or appearance ❌ Creating accounts for other people ❌ Using someone else's photos without authorization ❌ Impersonating any person or entity ❌ Creating multiple accounts ❌ Using the Service if previously banned

2. Profile and Media Standards

Public-Facing Content (Profile, Grid, "Right Now")

The following is NOT allowed in public areas:

❌ Explicit pornography or sexual acts ❌ Visible genitals, penetration, or masturbation ❌ Sexualized nudity (including "almost nude" content designed to circumvent rules) ❌ Fetish content that would reasonably be interpreted as sexually explicit ❌ Images containing minors in any context ❌ Non-consensual imagery or hidden-camera content ❌ Violence, gore, or exploitation ❌ Hateful symbols (swastikas, Confederate flags, etc.) ❌ Weapons displayed in a threatening manner ❌ Photos that are not of you

What IS allowed: ✅ Clear photos of your face and body ✅ Shirtless photos (showing torso) ✅ Underwear/swimwear photos (non-explicit) ✅ Artistic nude photography (no genitals visible)

Private Contexts (Private Albums, Direct Messages)

Explicit adult content is permitted in private contexts, provided:

✅ All depicted individuals are adults (18+) who have consented ✅ Content is legal in all applicable jurisdictions ✅ No content involving minors, non-consensual acts, or illegal activity

Important: Private content remains subject to automated safety scanning and human moderation for policy violations and illegal material.

Content Moderation

• Explicit content in public areas will be removed
• First violation: Warning and content removal
• Repeated violations: Account suspension or permanent ban
• Severe violations (CSAM, non-consensual imagery): Immediate ban and law enforcement referral

3. Behavioral Standards

Respect and Consent

All interactions must be consensual and respectful.

Required: ✅ Respect stated and implied boundaries ✅ Stop contact when asked or when ignored ✅ Obtain consent before sending explicit content ✅ Be honest about your intentions

Prohibited: ❌ Harassment, intimidation, threats, or bullying ❌ Hate speech or targeting based on protected characteristics (race, ethnicity, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, disability, HIV status, national origin, age, body type) ❌ Doxxing (revealing private information about someone) ❌ Blackmail, extortion, or coercion ❌ Grooming behaviors ❌ Pressuring users for photos, personal information, or meetups ❌ Continued contact after being blocked or asked to stop ❌ Outing someone's LGBTQ+ status, HIV status, or other private information

Communication

Prohibited: ❌ Spam or mass messaging ❌ Phishing or deceptive links ❌ Fraud or scams ❌ Misrepresentation of any material fact ❌ Scripts, bots, or automated messaging ❌ Soliciting money, gifts, or financial assistance ❌ Sharing conversations, screenshots, or private content without consent

4. Location Features

Permitted Use

Rush displays approximate distances and map positions to facilitate connections.

Prohibited Location Conduct

❌ Attempting to infer, reverse-engineer, or calculate another user's exact GPS coordinates ❌ Using multiple positions or reference points to triangulate location ❌ Tracking, stalking, or monitoring any user ❌ Attempting to meet or follow users offline without mutual agreement ❌ Using location information for harassment or harm

Consequences

Users who attempt to abuse location features for stalking, harassment, or harm may be permanently banned and reported to law enforcement.

5. Commercial Activity

Prohibited Commercial Uses

❌ Escorting or commercial sex work — Rush is not an escort service ❌ Solicitation — Offering or requesting paid sexual services ❌ Financial transactions — Requesting or sending money, gifts, or cryptocurrency ❌ Advertising — Promoting products, services, OnlyFans, or external platforms ❌ Recruitment — Recruiting users for jobs, pyramid schemes, or external services ❌ Sugar arrangements — Seeking or offering financial arrangements

Future Commercial Features

Rush may introduce sanctioned commercial features in the future. Until officially announced, all commercial activity is prohibited.

6. Prohibited Content and Activity

Absolutely Prohibited (Zero Tolerance)

The following result in immediate permanent ban and may be reported to law enforcement:

❌ CSAM — Any sexual content involving minors ❌ Non-consensual intimate imagery — "Revenge porn" or content shared without subject's consent ❌ Threats of violence — Direct or credible threats of physical harm ❌ Human trafficking — Any attempt to exploit or traffick individuals ❌ Terrorism — Content promoting or supporting terrorist organizations

Also Prohibited

❌ Illegal content or activity of any kind ❌ Drug sales, distribution, or promotion ❌ Weapons sales or trafficking ❌ Malware, viruses, or harmful code ❌ Hacking or unauthorized access attempts ❌ Promoting or facilitating criminal acts ❌ Content that violates intellectual property rights

7. Technical Restrictions

Prohibited Technical Activities

❌ Scraping, crawling, or data mining ❌ Reverse engineering, decompiling, or disassembling the Service ❌ Creating bots or automated accounts ❌ Using unauthorized APIs or third-party tools ❌ Creating multiple accounts to evade bans ❌ Bypassing blocks, suspensions, or safety controls ❌ Interfering with Rush's servers or infrastructure ❌ Attempting to access other users' accounts ❌ Exploiting bugs or vulnerabilities (report them to security@feeltherush.app)

Authorized Research

Security researchers who identify vulnerabilities should report them responsibly. We appreciate good-faith security research and will not pursue legal action against researchers who:

• Report vulnerabilities privately before disclosure
• Do not access user data beyond what is necessary
• Do not disrupt service operations

8. Reporting Violations

How to Report

1. Use the in-app reporting tools on any profile, message, or photo 2. Select the appropriate violation category 3. Provide details and evidence when possible

Your Responsibilities

✅ Report violations you encounter ✅ Provide accurate information in reports ✅ Do not misuse reporting to harass others

What Happens

• Reports enter our moderation queue
• Moderators review context and evidence
• Actions are taken based on severity and history
• We do not disclose actions taken against other users

9. Enforcement Framework

Enforcement Actions

Rush may, at its sole discretion:

1. Remove content — Delete violating photos, messages, or profile content 2. Issue warnings — Notify user of violation and expected behavior 3. Restrict features — Disable messaging, photo uploads, or location features 4. Temporary suspension — Lock account for a defined period 5. Permanent ban — Remove account with no option to return 6. Law enforcement referral — Report serious crimes to appropriate authorities

Escalation

Appeals

Rush is not required to provide a formal appeals process. Enforcement decisions are generally final. In exceptional circumstances, users may contact support@feeltherush.app, but reinstatement is not guaranteed.

No Transparency Obligation

We are not obligated to disclose:

• Internal moderation methodologies
• Evidence used in enforcement decisions
• Actions taken against other users
• Reasons for enforcement beyond general category

10. Account Removal

Accounts may be removed for:

• Violations of this Policy, Terms of Service, or Community Guidelines
• Posing safety risks to other users
• Repeated lower-level violations
• Confirmed or suspected underage use
• Ban evasion (creating new accounts after being banned)
• Extended inactivity (as defined by Rush)
• Any other reason at our discretion

11. LGBTQ+ Safety Considerations

Rush serves a global LGBTQ+ community, including users in regions with legal or social risks.

Our Commitments

✅ Location fuzzing to prevent exact position disclosure ✅ Privacy controls for sensitive profile fields ✅ Option to hide from "Right Now" feature ✅ No public disclosure of sexual orientation outside the platform

User Responsibilities

Users in sensitive regions should:

• Consider privacy implications before sharing personal details
• Use appropriate caution with location features
• Understand we may be required to respond to local legal requests

Hate and Discrimination

Discrimination against LGBTQ+ users is prohibited. This includes targeting users based on sexual orientation, gender identity, HIV status, or any other protected characteristic.

12. Updates

Rush may update this Acceptable Use Policy at any time. Material changes will be communicated through the app or website.

Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of the updated Policy.

13. Relationship to Other Policies

This AUP works alongside:

• Terms of Service — Contractual agreement governing your use
• Privacy Policy — How we collect, use, and protect your data
• Community Guidelines — Standards for community behavior
• Safety Policy — Our safety practices and procedures
• Cookie Notice — Tracking technologies on our website

In case of conflict, the Terms of Service prevail.
